Installation: Designed to be easily installed by the end user. No tools necessary.

Warranty: The Basic Series offers a lifetime warranty against rust.

Material: Basic Series panels - 24 gauge galvanized steel; end caps - 22 gauge galvanized steel. The perforations located on the top and front of each panel are 1/8" in diameter.

Panel Length: The Basic Series panels are 3’ to 6’ in length. Visit the Measurement Guide for measuring instructions.

Custom Cut: If you require a panel to be cut down to a specific size, then please indicate the length above under the section ‘Need a FREE custom cut’. There is no charge for custom cuts; however, they add a two week lead time and are non-returnable.

Finish: Available in semi-gloss powder coat in Standard White and four Special Order Colors (Cool Gray, Oil Rubbed Bronze, Cast Iron Black, and Silver). White is available for Quick Ship. Special Colors have a two week production lead time.

FAQ

Will this Baseboarders® Basic cover fit my existing baseboard heater?

Yes, this cover is designed to fit over most standard hydronic baseboard heaters with a back plate. They come in  3’ to 6’ lengths. No need to remove the existing back plate, just slide the lip of our panel down between the wall and back plate for secure installation.

What material is the Basic Series cover made from?

Baseboarders® Basic covers are made from 24-gauge powder-coated steel for durability and efficient heat conduction (accessories are 22 gauge).

Do I need professional installation for this product?

No. This is a true DIY solution. Just remove the old front cover and end caps, then slip the new Baseboarders® panel over the existing back plate.

Is this cover rust-resistant?

Yes. The powder-coated steel finish is rust-resistant. Basic covers are galvanized steel and powder-coated, which helps prevent the onset of rust. We offer a lifetime warranty against rust for all Baseboarders ® styles.

Can I install this on electric baseboard heaters?

Most Baseboarders® covers are designed for use with hydronic (hot water-based) baseboard heating systems only. For electric baseboard heater covers, look at Baseboarders electric heater covers.

What accessories do I need to complete the installation?

You’ll need right and left end caps (sold separately) to finish the installation. Optional accessories include inside corners, wall brackets, and couplers depending on your layout.

Can I get this cover in a different length?

Yes. We can cut down our standard length panels to a specific length (final sale). Contact our team to discuss your customization needs.

Can I get this cover in a different color?

Yes. We offer powder coating in special colors (U.S. only). Contact our team to discuss your options.

What is the return policy?

We will issue a full product refund (minus shipping) for any items that are returned to our warehouse in good condition within 30 days of the delivery date. The only exception is for custom cut panels and samples - these items are final sale.

What is the warranty on products?

All styles have a lifetime warranty against rust.

If you do have a rare occurrence of rust, please email us at sales@baseboarders.com with your order number and an image of the rusted item to submit a warranty claim.

Most orders ship within a few business days. Because our products are located in North America, delivery is fast and reliable. Please note that custom cut lengths and special-order colors have a longer lead time.

Why do I need a Bracket?

Wall Brackets:
Typically used when the original back plate has been removed, when the original back plate is less than 7.5" in height (less than 9.5" for Premium Tall), or in new construction environments. Panels that are 5' long or less need 2 wall brackets. Panels that are longer than 5' need 3 wall brackets.
